Friend Poem

Friends are those who know you, friends are those who care.

Friends are those you talk to, friends will never tell.

Friends are very loving, friends are always there.

Friends would never leave you, friends would never dare.

Friends will make you laugh whenever you are sad

yes,friends are all these things, that's why we call them friends.

Eulogy

Alexa was an awesome and very talented and intellegent person who was very kind and loving to everyone. She had a very successful career as a doctor and earned very much money (which she donated alot of).  She even saved many people's lives through her donations. She graduated from an amazing college at a very early age and always got the best grades out of her whole class. She always had an amazing relationship with every one in her family and all of her many friends. She was loved by everyone that knew her. :(

Intro

Hey, my name is Alexa. I am a freshman at ALA. Some of the things that i like to do are : sing, dance,

 hangout w/ friends, go shopping, play the piano and the guitar, read, and listen to music. i really don't

 know what else i should say and this class period is almost over so i have2 go.

7:00 Wake up and get ready for school

Family Letter

Dear                        ,

                      It has been so long since we last saw you. you cannot even imagine how big my siblings have gotten. My sister has just started Jr. High this year, I'm a freshman in High school, and my not-so-little-anymore brother is in fifth grade in Elementary. Back at home everything is normal, well as normal as our house can get. Between getting ready for school in the mornings (you know how crazy that can get) and going on vacations, our family is always on the go. Speaking of vacations, we actually went on one a few weeks ago. We went to California. We got to go to Disney Land, California Adventures, and the Beach. It was AWESOME!!!!!  We got to go on all of the rides that we wanted to. While we were at the beach, we collected sea shells. It was our first time actually going to the beach and feeling the water there. My sister and my dad even built a sand castle! :) Well, that is pretty much all that has happened around here.

Odyssey Summary

The odyssey is a story about Odysseus and his journey to get back home. in the odyssey,  odysseus gets stranded on the island of Calypso. Every body thinks that he is dead. Many suitors are at his home for the hand of his wife. during his journey, he and his crew went to visit the Lotus Eaters. Three of his crew members ate the strange plant and lost desire to return home. then they went to and island where a cyclops lived. he lived in a cave full of goats. the cyclops ate two of his men. the crew was trapped in the cave. when the cyclops went to sleep, they took his eye out. they escaped by riding on the undersides of the goats. when they escaped they met the keeper of the breeze. he gave them a leather bag and Odysseus' crew thought that it was treasure so they opened it but it released a hurricane that blew them back to where they began. then some giants ate many of his crew. the survivors went to the island of Circe where she turned some of them (but Odysseus) to pigs. she told him that he would have to go to the land of the dead. after he went to the land of Death, he was back at sea and they had to pass  the sirens but the crew filled their ears up with wax. then they had to pass a wirlpool. when they passed the wirlpool they got hit with a lightning bolt and the only survivor was Odysseus who washed up on the island of Calypso.after a long time the gods decide that he has been there too long and order Calypso to let him go. he is riding on a raft but Poseidon is mad at him for killing his son the  cyclops so he destroys the raft. after a long time he arrives at an island where the king helps him go home. when Odysseus arrives to his home his is diguised by Athena as an old beggar. he runs into his son and tells him who he is and his son believes him. then the son takes Odysseus to his house and his wife says that who ever can string a bow and shoot it through the sockets of twelve axes, a task that she knows only Odysseus can do. when many try and all fail Odysseus does it and succeeds and his wife knows that it is him.
